Class A CDL License, Greensboro, NC

Great experience!!!

I had a great experience training with Lorac Academy. The training is very hands on and easy to understand. He really takes his time teaching, answers any questions you have, and makes sure you fully understand everything before moving forward. You can tell he genuinely wants his students to learn and succeed. I highly recommend Lorac Academy to anyone looking for quality, hands-on training. You will definitely leave feeling more confident and prepared!

took longer than expected but instructors do everything in their power to help you learn and succeed

I recently graduated from LORAC, from day one, the David (owner) was welcoming and professional, making me feel comfortable and excited about learning to drive a semi.

I also appreciated the flexible scheduling options, which made it easy to find lesson times that fit my busy life. The driving school has an encouraging atmosphere, which truly helped me thrive as a student.

Thanks to LORAC, I feel fully prepared and confident to drive on my own. I recommend this school to anyone looking to learn how to drive or improve their skills. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Highly Recommended! Black-owned business! David is amazing and truly knowledgeable. He works with you every step of the way and is very motivating. Great experience overall. Definitely one of the best trucking schools in NC!

I had a great experience at this CDL school. The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and willing to take the time to make sure I understood everything, from the classroom material to the hands-on driving skills. They did a great job preparing me for the CDL test and for what to expect once I got out on the road.

Highly Recommended, Black Owned ! David is wonderful he works with you and has a lot of knowledge , very motivating! Best trucking school in NC

Best School To Attend

Owner was very pleasant. Definitely good vibes. Very helpful great organization. My experience was 5 star. If I had to do it again I will. I’m very grateful for the company. I have my CDL and is very comfortable using them thanks to this company.

I went through CDL training and had a positive experience.. I would recommend 1000 times over again.

Lorac Academy is not - A Mere - Training school Yet Is A Grand Adventure in Learning Excellence - & - Shrewd Professionalism - An Extensive - In Depth - Curriculum Stemming From A Highest Level Of - Aquisitions - And - Multidimensional - Experiences - Lorac Academy - Ensures - An Incomparable - Comprehensive - Experience - That Embraces Far Beyond - It's - Mere Season Of Tutor - From its origin of creation - Embarking Upon this Journey one gets a sense of - Exaltation - & - Elevation - Empowered Excellence - An Exceptional Conquest of Contribution - " Lorac Academy " - ( Come As You Are - Leave As You Were Meant To Be )

Hi I participated in the training for dispatching and it was a great experience. I thought at my age it would have been over my head but with the support of the instructor and believing in myself I am encouraged the sky are the limits. Best thing I could have ever done great company. June Kimber

Great school, everyone is nice what agreat experience . Got a job with mabe's through the school. Could not ask for more thanks lorac crew.
Update drove for mabes 1 1/2 years challenging at first then settled in . Now I took a job with Averett Trucking local. Thanks to Dave and the crew . Thank you .

My experience was very great the staff was kind and very helpful to asking all my questions also gave me a walk of the classroom and The Business was very clean I organized.

Happy to say that this was a great Third Party Testing Site to attend. The examiner was very nice and polite…strictly by the book, but as long as you know your stuff, you should pass. I recommend Lorac for a testing site. FIVE STARS ALL DAY!!

The best instructor in the classroom and on the yard. I learned how to drive a manual transmission with them. I learnt a lot while I was there. I will recommend this place to anyone who is interested in getting there CDL.

I just graduated as a formerly incarcerated individual and I would like to put ALL OF THESE BOGUS REVIEWS TO REST!!!! This has been a pleasant experience!! Not only is this school flexible and understanding with your schedule, but they are also compassionate for any ethical background or barriers. Because of my financial circumstances, just being released from prison, the owner, Mr David allowed me to attend the school for free. Absolutely for free!! He didn’t have to do that at all, considering all the negative publicity his school is receiving. That takes a huge heart!!! I’m just tired of all of the negative reviews and false accusations about this school and their staff. So proud of this independent school and what they’ve accomplished. I recommend anyone with a background or needs flexible time to receive their CDL licenses to attend this school. Allow yourself to get your own experience rather than listening to an obvious hateful person, that seems to be hating on another person’s success and accomplishments.
FIVE STARS FOR THIS SCHOOL!!!!!! And stop with the false narrative about LORAC ACADEMY!!!

I have to say, this has to be one of the best around. Everything they promised was delivered. From the time of enrollment to me walking out with my CDL was 4 weeks. Jason is very personable, and helped me every step of the way. 10/10 highly recommend

Highly recommend! Very experienced instructors! Owner is very helpful!
Very attentive and factual on how OTR or local driveing works!
Helping and knowledgeable on how things workon the truck, how to drive, and pre-trips!
Greatful for there service, advice and there teaching!

Great School! The instructors were very informative and I learned so much from them. Mr. David Williams is selfless and yearns to aid and assist people further their careers and better their lives no matter how much you doubt your self they will find ways to keep that motivation at a high level and show you that real progression starts with YOU and making a decision to choose a school …CHOOSE LORAC ACADEMY !!!

I started this class with no knowledge of trucking and thought at times I wouldn’t finish. With the help of the instructors and classmates that wanted the same as I did, I completed the course and obtained my class A (automatic) CDL’s. This was by far probably the most inexpensive, and easy to get along with than any other school in this area. If you have the slightest bit of self motivation and thick skin, take a step in this direction for an opportunity to grow in the trucking game!

My study at Lorac was positively memorable. The instructors were great. Utmost respect to MR. NEAL ( AKA. ...I KNOW THE WAY ), Mr. J and Mr. Ace. They worked with me patiently throughout my range time. Regards also to Mr. C in the Classroom and David William. My best wishes to you all. Peace!

I truly enjoyed my journey at Lorac Academy. What I thought would be nearly impossible to learn from the instructors: Mr. King, Mr. Terry, and Ms. Dee certainly guided me in the proper direction.
They were all passionate and intentional in making sure each student what was needed for their next phase in life.
My two most memorable moments were... Mr. Terry looked me in the eyes and gave me a fist bump when I completed my first on-road driving. He said, "James, you did great! You did great, man"! It impacted me hard because I was homeless and the car I was sleeping in was totaled during my commute to Lorac Academy. So that word of encouragement gave me hope that this decision wasn't in vain.
And my second most memorable moment was Ms. Dee jumping up and down and then giving me a hi-5 when I did my maneuvers without any assistance.
I'm thankful for this entire journey. S/o to Lorac Academy and its instructors for the tools you've added to my tool belt!
