At Lorac Academy, we are here to help you jumpstart your career as a commercial driver. For many people, driving commercially can be a lucrative, steady, and fulfilling career. If you are interested in earning your CDL through our driving academy, we want to help you make an informed decision, starting with informing you about the cost of our programs.
- Commercial truck driver training—Tuition for this course is $3,600, and it includes 160 hours of training, classroom materials, books/notebooks, and your final road test. If you want to stay onsite, room and board are $1,500. To take your D.O.T. physical and drug screen, the cost is $195.50, and your license fee is $204.50. You can pay in full or pay in installments for this course.
- Two-week refresher course—If you have a current CDL, you can take our refresher course for a Class A license for $1,800.
- Tuition totals—For a Class A license without room and board, the total cost is $4,000, and with room and board, the total cost is $5,500. For a two-week refresher course, the total is $1,800.
- Full-time schedules—If you attend our academy full-time, you will take courses from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- Weekend – Saturday and Sundays only from 8am-4pm.
- Evening schedules – Monday to Thursday 5:30pm to 9:00pm.
